| Description | Bradley John Schmidt has been a lawyer for over twenty years. Brad grew up in Willmar, MN and went to college at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. He graduated in 1983 with a double major in accounting and French. He worked for an accounting firm and became a certified public accountant in 1985. Brad graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 1988. Brad’s accounting background has provided an added benefit to his skills as a lawyer, giving him added knowledge about financial and tax matters. His practice has developed into three primary areas; wills/estate planning, real estate law and business law. In the estate planning area Brad is very experienced with such things as wills and trusts, power of attorney, nursing home matters and estate taxes. Brad’s areas of real estate law include purchase agreements, closings, title reviews, title clearing matters and lease agreements. For business law Brad has represented many buyers and sellers of businesses, drafted many contracts, collected debts and formed corporations and other business entities. Brad has handled many multi-million dollar transactions and estates. He works hard to complete matters in an efficient manner, but pays attention to the details. Brad also services many basic legal needs as well. He prides himself on being able to clearly explain matters to his clients so they have a good understanding of their situation. While Brad has developed the expertise to work on large and complicated transactions, he also enjoys helping people with straightforward matters as well. Whether your legal needs are small or large, Brad is ready to provide his high quality professional service. Brad is a singer and also enjoys reading, cross-country skiing, fishing and hunting. He continues to be active in many community organizations and events. Brad and his wife live in Willmar with their three children. |
