| Description | Anna is a founding member of the firm and concentrates her practice in Health Care Law. As a healthcare attorney, she represents physicians and physician groups as well as physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other non-physician providers. Anna focuses her practice on corporate and business transactions and regulatory matters. She advises healthcare providers with regards to negotiating and drafting contracts, formation of group structures, employment and shareholder matters, credentialing, regulatory compliance (including HIPAA, Antikickback and Stark compliance), Medicare audits and False Claims actions. Her clients include physician practices and their ancillary businesses throughout the State of Georgia, including IDTFs, free standing imaging, portable imaging, dialysis centers, clinical laboratories, sleep centers and ambulatory surgery centers.Anna actively participates in the education of healthcare providers, coauthoring several articles concerning various aspects of the managed care environment and speaking nationally to healthcare groups, including state and local medical associations, hospital associations, state affiliated ACHE organizations and HFMA, regarding health care law and managed care.Prior to becoming an attorney, Anna spent over ten years in the healthcare industry, working at various hospitals ranging in size from 120 beds to 1300 beds. Anna graduated with honors from Northern Illinois University and with distinction from the University of Kentucky College of Law. Since 1997, she has been a Member of Tinsley Bacon Tinsley, L.L.C. Prior to the formation of Tinsley Bacon Tinsley, Anna was a healthcare and litigation attorney for the firms of Parker, Johnson, Cook & Dunlevie (n/k/a Womble Carlyle Sandridge and Rice) and Gambrell & Stolz, (n/k/a Baker, Donalson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C.).Anna is a member and Diplomate of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the American Bar Association (Healthcare Section), the State Bar of Georgia (Healthcare Section), the Georgia Academy of Hospital Attorneys, and the American Health Lawyers Association (Physician Organization Section). Since 1995, she has been a member of the Healthcare Panel of arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association and has acted as an arbitrator (sole and panel member) in numerous business disputes in the Southeast.Anna is licensed to practice in the state of Georgia and is admitted to state and federal courts.
