| Description | Andres Rodriguez was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He earned his bachelor’s degree and graduated cum laude from the Inter-American University in Puerto Rico. He later went on to earn his J.D. and graduated from the Inter-American University School of Law. He Passed the Puerto Rico bar with a 91.5% percentile. The Puerto Rico bar is notorious for being one of the hardest bars in the country.Andres Rodriguez moved to New Orleans, Louisiana in June of 2015. He started to work in immigration law and directed the immigration department of a New Orleans, Law Firm. He later moved to Houston and practiced Immigration Law with Houston based law firm for over a year.Mr. Rodriguez has had numerous success with asylum cases. He has been success in obtaining asylums based on gang recruitment, political opinion, sexual harassment, imputed sexual orientation, crime witness, domestic violence, member of nuclear family and torture claims. He has also argued successful cancellation of removal cases and adjustment of status before the Immigration Court. He has also worked on family visa petitions, student visas, work visas, fiancé visas, employment visas, Special Immigrant Juvenile Cases, DACA Renewals, bonds and more.
