| Description | Amy Shaw represents clients in connection with all phases of real estate acquisitions and sales, including due diligence, financing, and closing. Amy also focuses her practice on commercial leasing, construction, development, entity formation, and general corporate matters and frequently serves as state counsel for large multi-state financing transactions and acquisitions. In addition, Amy is experienced representing lenders, borrowers, purchasers, and sellers in asset purchases and sales and personal property (UCC) secured financing. Amy received her J.D. from the University of Virginia in 2000 where she was a member of the senior editorial board of the Virginia Journal of International Law. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, and with University Honors, from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1993, where she was elected to membership in the Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa honor societies. Amy is a member of Greater Cincinnati CREW and the Cincinnati and Ohio State Bar Associations and serves on the Committee on Legal Opinions in Real Estate Transactions for the Real Property, Trust, and Estate Section of the American Bar Association. |
