| Description | Barbara Moore is a seasoned civil litigator, with experience in multiple practice areas, including personal injury, business, contracts, landlord/tenant, real estate, mechanic’s liens, title insurance, family law, criminal defense, bankruptcy, employment, general civil litigation and writs and appeals. Barbara graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Political Science/Public Law. She earned her J.D. from Whittier College, School of Law. During law school, Barbara served on the Whittier Law Review as a staff member and served as the Managing Editor during her last year. Barbara was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1989. Shortly thereafter, she was admitted to the United states District Court (Central and Southern California Districts), the United States Ninth District Court of Appeal and the United States Bankruptcy Courts (Central and Southern California Districts). Prior to joining Estelle & Kennedy, APLC, Barbara worked for various insurance defense firms in Orange County for numerous years, where she developed experience in premises liability, governmental tort claims, auto v auto, suspect claim litigation, and business and civil torts (i.e., fraud, unfair competition, conversion, assault and battery, wrongful death, products liability, etc.). Thereafter, Barbara moved to the Inland Empire, where she worked a various firms, developing diverse experience in civil litigation, family law, criminal defense, business, contracts, real estate, landlord/tenant and employment law, writs and appeals, and title insurance (i.e., foreclosure of mechanic’s liens, clearing clouded title, easement disputes, etc.). Barbara has successfully handled numerous dispositive motions, trials and appeals. Her experience has also allowed her to successfully and effectively negotiate countless settlements on behalf of clients. Barbara is always prepared to advocate for her clients and provide them guidance through the legal process in a professional, competent and compassionate manner. |
